How to set up WhatsApp Business on iPhone for UK trades

  1. Step 1

    Back up your chat history

    In WhatsApp Messenger, go to Settings > Chats > Chat backup and tap Back Up. On iPhone this saves to iCloud. This will take just a moment.

  2. Step 2

    Download WhatsApp Business

    Download the WhatsApp Business app from the App Store and open it.

  3. Step 3

    Set up WhatsApp Business

    Follow the on-screen steps to move your number across safely:

    • Agree and Continue
    • Select your phone number
    • Continue > Allow to import your chat history
    • Enter your name and tap Next

  4. Step 4

    Connect Pencil

    You’re all done. Come back here on your iPhone and connect WhatsApp so Pencil can start handling messages, planning and booking, and quotes and invoices for you.
