Can a bathroom fitter use this quote generator for free?

Yes. Build the quote before they pick the brassware, or the invoice when you finish, and download the PDF. No account, and your document is not stored.

How do I show VAT on a bathroom suite I am supplying?

Enter the net suite, the net labour and the net tiling, then tick Add VAT if you are registered. The PDF adds 20% and shows it. If the suite is theirs, do not put it on the paper.

Is a bathroom price before the suite is chosen a quote or an estimate?

The labour and the tanking can be a quote. The supply price is an estimate until the tray, the taps and the furniture are chosen. Split them, so a dearer brassware choice does not reopen the fitting price.

Where do boxing in the pipes and making good go?

On the quote, as their own lines, if you are doing them. A paper that only says bathroom refit is where those get argued after the silicone is on.

A bathroom is the suite and the work around it. Making good and hidden damage are what get argued when the paper only says bathroom refit.

Built Specifically for UK Bathroom Fitters

Suite & Stages: Separate the tray, bath, furniture and taps from first fix, tanking and second fix.
Tiling: Keep tiling on its own line when you are doing it.
Hidden Damage: Treat rot or plaster that will not hold the installation as excluded unless the quote says otherwise, and agree the cost before you add it.
Changed Products: A product changed after it has been ordered may cost more. Agree that cost under the original terms.

Free quote and invoice template for bathroom fitters

Quote the suite and the stages before they choose the brassware, so a later tap is a change to agree. Invoice the stages you agreed, which may fall before the job is fully finished. Keep tiling on its own line when you are doing it.

Tick Add VAT when the suite and the labour are net and you are VAT registered. The PDF adds 20% on top. If they are supplying the furniture, leave it off your lines and only VAT your work. Your document is not stored.

While you are still in the room, Pencil for UK bathroom fitters can price that breakdown from a WhatsApp message.

What to include on a quote for UK bathroom fitters

A bathroom is the suite and the work around it. These lines keep them apart.

Shower tray, furniture and taps, supply. The suite, omitted if they are buying it.
First fix, tanking and second fix. The labour by stage, not one refit lump.
Wall tiling to the shower area. Its own line when you are tiling.
